Appearing in the AI answer, not just in the results list
Visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews: verifiable facts, open crawler paths and monitoring that shows whether anything is moving.
A good share of what is currently sold as GEO is SEO with a new label. Clean structure, fast pages, unambiguous facts: that is not a new discipline, it has always been solid work. Anyone opening a second budget line for it is selling you the same foundation twice.
Something else is genuinely new, and it is uncomfortable. An AI answer has no ten slots and no ranking that settles over weeks. The model decides afresh with every single question whom to name, and it checks your statements against other sources. What decides the outcome here is consistency, verifiability and whether the AI crawlers are allowed near you at all.
Which is also why we will tell you when the money is better spent later. If you do not appear in classic search, you do not get cited either, and then the technical foundation is the first step, not GEO. Nobody can promise a fixed mention in ChatGPT, ourselves included.
Who this suits
A fit if
- Your customers research for a while before calling and compare providers
- Your technical foundation is in place and Google already finds you
- You can supply concrete, verifiable statements about what you offer
- You accept documented sampling as the measure rather than a ranking curve
Not a fit if
- Your site is slow, unstructured or blocked to crawlers
- You expect a guaranteed mention in one particular AI answer
- Your offer only works when explained in conversation and resists hard facts
- You need a single figure that reliably rises in a monthly report
What is included
- Baseline: the buying questions of your sector run through ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews, documented with a date
- Crawler access: robots.txt and llms.txt set deliberately for GPTBot, PerplexityBot and the other AI crawlers, instead of opening or blocking everything wholesale
- Fact base: services, catchment area, responsibilities and prices as dated, verifiable statements rather than advertising language
- Structured data plus a consistency check across the website, the Google Business Profile and the directories that list you
- Monitoring as repeated sampling with date and wording, so that change becomes visible at all
How we work
- 01
Baseline
We put the questions your customers ask to the systems and record who gets named and on what grounds. That is the zero point everything is later measured against.
- 02
Opening the doors
Many sites block AI crawlers without anyone having made that decision consciously. We check robots.txt, rendering and load behaviour and decide bot by bot rather than in one sweep.
- 03
Making facts citable
A model only picks up what it can attribute unambiguously. We sharpen your statements, date them, anchor them in structured data and align them with the sources that talk about you outside your own site.
- 04
Measuring again
The same questions, the same documentation, at fixed intervals. Where you are not named, the wording of the answer usually shows which piece of information the model is missing.
What it costs
There is no settled price market for GEO in 2026. Almost everyone publishing figures is a provider themselves, and the ranges they quote differ by a multiple. So we will not print a market range we cannot stand behind. The workable yardstick: measure a GEO quote against what SEO work of the same scope costs, and have every premium explained. A GEO baseline check is already part of the website subscription; anything beyond it we quote after the audit, with the reasoning attached.
