With the one-off price, you receive an exclusive, perpetual and transferable right of use in the website - source code, design and content - on final payment, including the right to modify it and have it modified by third parties, plus the complete source code, the documentation and all access details. With instalments, a simple usage right for operating your website applies from go-live; the full transfer of rights and the source code follow with the last instalment. In practice, either way: once it's paid off, you can carry on freely, with other developers too. The only exceptions are our cross-project building blocks and open-source libraries, which stay under their own licences.

Yes, in most cases. Whether a 1:1 migration, a relaunch on your existing domain, or a complete rebuild is the better path depends on the state of your current site. We'll evaluate that together in the first call - and you'll get an honest recommendation on which way makes most sense for you.

Once the website is fully paid off - with the final payment or the last monthly instalment - all usage rights and the complete source code are yours, along with the documentation and the domain in your name. For larger changes you can either continue working with us (depending on capacity) or with another developer familiar with the modern tech stack. That's exactly why we build on established technologies like Next.js and React: so your site remains maintainable and extensible years later.

A fair question when working with a single developer. In practice, every project has milestone commits and documentation, so the current state is always transparent. If we are unavailable for longer, you can either wait for us or seamlessly continue with another developer - once the website is fully paid off, the usage rights and the source code are yours.
